Fred Prall has more than 50 years of experience as an independent accountant with Prall & Company, which he founded in Bloomington, Indiana, in 1973. He has a Bachelor of Science degree from Indiana University and an MBA from the Indiana University School of Business and worked for the university for the first ten years of his career. He’s a member of several professional associations including the National Association of Tax Professionals, the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, the Institute of Management Accountants and the Indiana Statewide Certified Development Corporation. He is a co-founder of the Monroe County Taxpayers Association; a co-founder, treasurer and former board president of Hoosier Bassmasters; a co-founder and the treasurer of Seven Oaks Classical School and was Indiana University’s representative to the Western Interstate Commission for Higher Education. He was previously the financial auditor and compliance auditor in Indiana for the JTPA program, the Job Training Partnership Act, and its predecessor, CETA, the Comprehensive Employment and Training Act program, and was the internal auditor for fiscal audits for Indiana University and the financial systems coordinator. He also served for a time as the Indiana Department of Labor regional auditor for Region 5 and was the compliance auditor for the Indiana Secretary of State Securities Division Broker-Dealers. In 2002, he was a Republican candidate for mayor of the City of Bloomington. He has continued to be involved in public affairs and supporting candidates for office who promise to lower taxes, restrict government spending and regulation and promote individual responsibility. He was a beta tester for QuickBooks version 2005 and in his free time enjoys fishing and mushroom hunting in the hills of Southern Indiana.

Outside of work, Sherri has been happily married for 16 years and is the proud mother of three adult children, as well as a grandmother to two granddaughters and one grandson. An avid traveler, she has explored all 50 U.S. states along with much of the Caribbean and Mexico—experiences that have broadened her worldview and deepened her appreciation for diverse cultures and people.
